CHAIRMAN’S MESSAGE

Chairman and Principal’s Message

Assalamu ‘alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

All praise is due to Allah Subhanahu wa Ta’ala alone. We seek refuge with Allah from the evil of ourselves and the evil of our actions. Whomsoever Allah guides, no one can misguide and whomsoever He does not guide no one can guide. I testify that none has the right to be worshipped but Allah, and that Muhammad (Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa sallam) is His slave and Messenger.

Knowledge is of the utmost importance in Islam. In fact, Taqwa or the fear of Allah and knowledge are interwoven:

“It is only those who have knowledge among His slaves that fear Allah.” [Faatir 35:28]

Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) emphasizes in the Qur’an the noble status of scholars:

“Allah will exalt in degree those of you who believe, and those of you who have been granted knowledge.” [Al- Mujaadilah 58: 11]

The purpose of knowledge in today’s world is increasingly becoming a means to attain material success only, which in turn is moulding this society into one that is devoid of moral and ethical values. I believe that an educational institute like Madrasatun Naseehah will open the doors to our community for gaining beneficial knowledge that will help our children to achieve the best of this world and the next, In Shaa Allah.

The objective of this madrasa is to provide quality education to the young generation of Muslims based on the Qur’an and Sunnah. Our curriculum is developed in such a way as to tap into the latent talents and abilities of students and to challenge their intellects. The various extra-curricular activities are designed to inculcate in them the skills of teamwork, empathy, and communication. The madrasa aims to equip them to take up leadership roles in various fields in future and benefit their surroundings immensely. I hope and pray that our students will contribute to bringing back the golden age of Islam which was envisioned and realized by our early predecessors.

Thanks to Allah (Subhanahu wa Ta’ala) for His endless favours upon us, who has blessed us with all the means to make the establishment of this madrasah a reality. I pray to Him to reward all the people who have helped and assisted us, directly or indirectly.

Finally, I express my heart-felt gratitude to the Madrasa committee, the vice principals, teachers, and staff of Madrasatun Naseeha for their efforts in materializing our collective vision. I wish them all the best in their future endeavours.

Jazakumullahu khairan.

Wa assalamu ‘alaykum.
